Born and raised in South Korea, Eric grew up watching and being inspired by Hollywood films. Eric started his career as a miniature model artist but ultimately decided to move to the U.S. to achieve his goal as a filmmaker. He studied and graduated from The Los Angeles Film School in 2006 with directing and editing major. His 2010 short "Good and Evil" was selected as Top 5 Finalists at "The Story Beyond The Still" by Canon & Vimeo and the following year, Eric launched an action thriller web series called "The Division," which had its run on Hulu and currently available on Amazon Prime, "The Division" had won numerous awards including Best Web Series, Best Director, and Best Editing. Since 2014, Eric has been expanding and focusing his career as an editor and worked on many notable projects. He was the winner of Best Editing at 2016 Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival for a feature film "The Guest House." Eric recently edited several feature films including "Road to Utah", an official selection of 2016 Busan Int'l Film Festival, "BorderCross", starring Lorenzo Lamas and Danny Trejo, and "Escape Room", starring Skeet Ulrich which will be in theaters in 2018, a psychological thriller feature "Do You See Me". Eric is currently working on an untitled Kevin Bright's (Director/Producer of "Friends") documentary feature film along with other several exciting projects.
